NEWS: Regional Online Conference Successfully Concluded – The Green Journey Continues
On June 23–24, 2025, the GREENSMES project hosted the regional online conference “Green Innovation in SMEs in the IPA ADRION Region”, bringing together a wide range of experts, SME representatives, and stakeholders from across the region.
Over two days of dynamic discussion and knowledge exchange, participants explored how green innovation can drive sustainable growth and strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The conference focused on several key topics:
- Green Innovation Trends and Opportunities – examining how sustainable strategies help SMEs reduce costs, access new markets, and improve resilience
- Barriers and Challenges – identifying practical solutions to common obstacles SMEs face in adopting green practices, from limited internal capacities to financing
- Real-World Success Stories – showcasing SMEs that have already implemented sustainable solutions and sharing their practical insights and lessons learned
We extend our sincere thanks to all panelists and SME presenters, as well as to all participants whose active engagement helped shape a truly impactful event.
While the conference has concluded, the GREENSMES project is moving forward.
In the coming weeks and months, project partners will organize local workshops and networking events in their respective countries, continuing to support SMEs in adopting sustainable practices and building long-term strategies for green innovation.
The momentum is growing—and the green transition of SMEs across the region is well underway.
