NEWS: 5th Steering Committee and Partners’ Meeting in Albania

On 15 December 2025, GREENSMES partners gathered in Albania for the 5th Steering Committee and Partners’ Meeting, organized by PP6 Albanian Development Fund, dedicated to reviewing the state of play and aligning next steps across all work packages.

The meeting focused on work plan and financial adjustments, followed by in-depth discussions on ongoing and upcoming activities. Key highlights included the presentation of guidelines and next steps under WP3 – Green Innovation Upscaling and Piloting, as well as initial plans for the Monitoring Committee workflow.

Partners also advanced discussions under WP1 – Increasing transnational knowledge and awareness, working towards the finalization of Output 1.1: Strategy to facilitate successful transnational interaction between R&D and the business community towards green innovation.

Communication activities were also reviewed, with an emphasis on the current status across all partners and mitigation measures to ensure effective engagement of stakeholders and beneficiaries, based on the outcomes of the first quality monitoring.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to WP2 – Transnational Green Innovation Capacity Building and Networking, where partners presented the current status of SME and BSO capacity-building programmes in each participating country, followed by a constructive exchange.

The meeting once again confirmed the strong cooperation within the consortium and provided clear guidance for the next implementation phase, reinforcing GREENSMES’ commitment to supporting SMEs on their path towards green innovation and sustainable growth.
