NEWS: GREENSMES Podcast Series Kicks Off with Episode from Municipality of Herceg Novi

The GREENSMES project has launched a series of podcasts produced by project partners, each focusing on different aspects of the green transition of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Adrion region. The series begins with an episode prepared by the Municipality of Herceg Novi titled “MSMEs on the Road to the Green Transition.”

The episode features two speakers who discussed innovation, circular economy principles, and the role of new technologies in transforming business models toward more sustainable practices.

Prof. Dr. Nikša Grgurević, Associate Professor and External Expert in Green Transition and Circular Economy, presented the topic “The Circular Economy as a Driver of Innovation in SMEs.” He highlighted how circular economy principles can improve resource efficiency, encourage innovation, and create new opportunities for SMEs.

The second speaker, Branko Radović, a business representative from Herceg Novi, spoke on “Integrating Green Innovations and Robotics into the Transformation of SMEs toward Sustainable Business.” Through examples from his own practice, he showed how digitalization, robotics, and green innovations can enhance efficiency and support more sustainable production processes.
