NEWS: GREENSMES joins IPA ADRION Cluster 1 activities to strengthen cooperation and capitalisation

GREENSMES project is actively contributing to the IPA ADRION Programme’s Capitalisation Initiative through its participation in Thematic Cluster 1 – SMEs Green Transition and Digital Innovation.

In June, the GREENSMES consortium was represented by the Lead Partner TECNOPOLIS Science & Technology Park at two important cluster events organised by the IPA ADRION Programme. The first was the online Thematic Cluster 1 meeting held on 4 June 2026, where participating projects introduced their initiatives, explored thematic complementarities and discussed opportunities for future joint activities.

The collaboration continued during the IPA ADRION Capitalisation Event “From Results to Uptake: Capitalising Project Results for Policy Impact and Future Programming”, held on 24 June 2026 in Rimini, Italy. The event gathered projects from all ten IPA ADRION thematic clusters, together with representatives of Interreg programmes and European institutions, to discuss how project results can generate long-term impact and contribute to future policy development.

As part of Cluster 1 – SMEs Green Transition and Digital Innovation, GREENSMES collaborates with projects addressing sustainable innovation, digital transformation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, environmental certification and smart services for SMEs and public authorities. This thematic cooperation aims to identify synergies, exchange knowledge and develop joint capitalisation actions that will maximise the impact of project results across the Adriatic-Ionian region.

Participation in these activities reinforces GREENSMES’ commitment to supporting the green and digital transition of SMEs while contributing to stronger transnational cooperation and more sustainable regional development.
